Open Create, paste your text or upload a PDF, EPUB, Word or ODT file, pick a narrator voice, and tap generate. You will get a notification when it is ready, and the audiobook appears in your library.

You record a short voice sample and then read a consent phrase aloud. We transcribe and verify that consent recording, and compare it against your sample, so a voice profile can only ever be created from your own voice. Making a voice of someone else, including a child, is prohibited by our Terms.

Audiobooks cost credits based on how long the finished audio is. New accounts start with welcome credits, there is a bonus off your first audiobook, and a bonus when you finish your first voice demo. Subscriptions grant credits every billing period; credit packs never expire.

Subscriptions are billed by Apple. Open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Bindlestory. Cancelling at least 24 hours before the period ends stops the next renewal. You keep access until the period you already paid for runs out.

Open the paywall and tap Restore Purchases first; that re-syncs your purchases with your account and resolves most cases. If the credits still do not appear, email us with the date of purchase and we will fix it by hand.

Purchases are processed by Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple rather than by us. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple Account. If the problem was caused by the app failing, tell us as well and we will help support your request.

Kid profiles live inside your account. They are listen-only: a child can play the audiobooks you share with them, but cannot create content, set up a voice, buy anything, or change account settings. Switching back to the parent profile requires your PIN.

In the app go to Settings, then the Danger zone. Deleting your voice removes the voiceprint and its recordings. Deleting your account revokes your sessions, stops any generation still in progress, and then waits 30 days before erasing anything; you can sign in during those days and tap Cancel deletion in the Danger zone to keep the account. An account with nothing in it yet is erased at once.

Tap Forgot password on the sign-in screen and enter your email. The reset link opens directly in the app if you have it installed, or in your browser if not. Reset links are single-use, the link works for one hour, and signing in again on every device is expected: changing the password signs the old sessions out.

We believe a failed audiobook should never cost credits, and when a paid plan waits longer than our target we put credits back on our own. If an audiobook has been stuck for more than an hour, email us the title.

Yes, on Premium, inside your account. From Family in the app you invite up to five adults by email and add up to five kid profiles; they listen to your audiobooks without paying. Apple's Family Sharing is not used.

Audiobooks you have downloaded play offline; new ones need a connection. Bindlestory is on iPhone today; there is no Android app yet.

The app speaks English, Spanish, French, Russian and Turkish. Support answers in English, and in your language when we can.
